Position Summary Manage and profitably grow our business for projects, products, and services with aviation customers. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with customers and ensure customers are well satisfied with the Company’s products and services. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field Passion for technology and experience working in a technology-based business 3 - 5 years experience of successfully managing customer accounts Strong organizational skills to schedule people to tasks and develop realistic action plans Strong written and oral communication skills Knowledge of aviation business and products is a plus Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Grow the profitability of Customer accounts, total account P&L; including projects, products and service revenues Work with OEMs to accurately forecast sales of products and services Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts, finding problems that the customer faces which we can work to solve, and also through up-selling and through the cross-selling of added services Create Business cases and meet Business case objectives for OEM products and services Work with the Product Managers and Concept Managers in prospecting and closing sales opportunities Manage customer project and feature requests in collaboration with the Project Manager and Program Manager for product line(s) Understand our customer’s organization and build productive working relationships with people in key roles Understand our customer’s market and their competitors so that we can act as an advisor on how to keep them competitive and differentiated. Know our competitors and our customer’s spend with them as it relates to hardware, software, and systems Interact with the Customer Service & Support Manager & Technical Managers for support issues Manage and solve conflicts with customers Keep current with the status of projects, projects deliverables, milestones and status for current products utilizing RMAs and Service data Issue timely & accurate status reports to the customer – accomplishments, project status, and service issues Negotiate product and project pricing agreements, bring in purchase orders and enter sales orders accurately and on time Meet time deadlines for accounts Develop and maintain a long-term, high-trust relationship necessary to grow an account. Keep management informed of area activities, changes in competitive conditions, and significant problems. Prospect for new business opportunities to expand market share. Conduct regular sales calls to develop customer relationships and follow up on leads. Make sales presentations to prospective customers as requested Collect information on competitor products, develop sales points to highlight advantages and benefits of Company products and services.
