Sweeney Controls Company CAD Technician (Computer Aided Drafting Technician) in FARGO, North Dakota

Sweeney Controls Company, a family-owned, Fargo-based systems integrator is looking for a CAD Technician to be responsible for drafting the schematics and layout drawings necessary to build electrical control panels. The CAD Technician will create complete design drawing packages under the direction of a Systems Architect. The CAD Technician is expected to work within the design criteria established by the Systems Architect, but will be required to be creative and resourceful to document detailed design information. Engineering documents supplied to the CAD Technician include system take-off, typical circuit diagrams accompanied by spreadsheets detailing instances, I/O lists, motor manifests and any number of other documents required to provide the necessary design information. The CAD Technician must be able to read a process flow diagram and electrical schematics. The CAD Technician is expected to take pride in his or her work, pay close attention to detail, and continuously learn about our business to help ensure consistency of design.The successful candidate will live up to our mission of honesty, integrity, and superior customer service.
