Responsible for coordinating the processing of all incoming, newly executed loan packages and subsequent collateral documentation items; responsibilities also include the collateral lien perfection, paid loan processing, and file maintenance and imaging.
Essential Job Functions
Ensures all executed loan packages are received and reviewed in a timely manner; this includes the review of executed loan documents for proper signatures and ensuring the receipt of all appropriate documents.
Provides boarding and/or funding authorization once the quality of the executed package is satisfactory.
Coordinates escrow closing with escrow company, title company, or other source.
Performs paid loan processing which includes processing the release of all collateral types; this function also includes the partial release of collateral.
Performs collateral lien perfection on new loans and on an ongoing basis, taking the necessary action(s) to maintain the Bank’s security.
Controls and maintains a secure environment for documentation files, original notes/credit agreements and collateral for all loans maintained at the location for file safekeeping.
Processes the daily incoming collateral documentation items and trailing documents ensuring that all of the necessary loan files are pulled and properly matched with the collateral/trailing documents and labeling and scanning of the documents.
Prepares the necessary loan documentation barcodes and color bar labels for all executed loan packages and oversees scanning of all documents.
Required Education or Equivalent Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 - 4 years of functional/professional experience
Administrative/Technical Skills/ Other Information
Good knowledge of the products, policies, and processes that relate to the unit assigned
Good knowledge of banking operations
