U.S. Bank Corporate Compliance Remediation Coordinator in Fargo, North Dakota
The Corporate Compliance Remediation Coordinator will possess highly sensitive data on specific remediation initiatives and aggregate customer remediation efforts. This position will also be making recommendations to the Chief Compliance Officer on remediation approaches and decisions on look-back periods.
The incumbent will work directly with Business Line Owners and Chief Risk Officer groups in the identification of errors or control failures as well as ensure timely and appropriate resolution in order to effectively manage legal, compliance, and reputational risk for the Company. In this role, the incumbent will typically interact directly with senior managers and other key stakeholders of various levels within the organization, including Vice Chairs, Corporate Compliance, Law Division, Regulatory Services, and Audit.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Ten or more years of experience in an applicable risk management environment
Expert knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially on Unfair, Deceptive and Abusive Acts and Practices (“UDAAP”), and related consumer protection laws and regulatory guidance as it applies to consumer lending and non-lending products and services.
An advanced level of presentation, relationship building, negotiation and writing skills.
Expert knowledge of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
Advanced knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
