U.S. Bank Data and Reporting Analyst in Fargo, North Dakota

Institutional Trust and Custody (IT&C), a part of Global Corporate Trust Services, is seeking a Reporting and Data Analyst with strong analytical and presentation skills to work in the Sales Support team. This position will be responsible for managing and utilizing sales data to identify areas of opportunity within the National Sales organization and broader business group. This position will include data reporting, data automation, data analysis and evaluation. The ideal candidate will combine data experience, financial knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with others.

Essential Functions:

· Analyze sales trends and business line data to find areas of opportunity

· Develop automated and/or analytic solutions to support sales growth within the business group

· Assist in delivering standardized business line reporting

· Support additional analytic projects such as market assessments, data prospecting analytics and project management aspects as needed

· Assist in the data conversion to Salesforce, including the assessment and construction of new reporting structures and methodology

· Present findings to senior leadership, both in writing and in person

· Maintain and manage existing databases


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of sales and marketing experience in the financial services industry

  • Ability to travel

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Basic knowledge of assigned geographical area, competitive market, banking operations and U.S. Bancorp’s products and services

  • General knowledge of the bank’s sales and marketing program

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and creative skills

  • Good organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to influence and persuade others

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
