Responsible for the implementations for Sanford owned, Non-Sanford managed or affiliated sites. Over-sees the project and works closely with Information Technology (IT), Supply Chain, and affected ancillary departments on current and future workflows/build. Provides detailed documentation and communication of project to the site's leadership and also Sanford implementation leadershipResponsible for developing the charge description master (CDM) work plan for implementation in conjunction with the facility and other Sanford departments involved. Lead the implementation of the CDM work plan, direct the building of the facility CDM, and related CDM routes. Primary CDM contact for the new facility and will coordinate all activity with the facility staff. Will lead the education of facility staff on the tools and Sanford standard enterprise approach to this entire process. Pull in others CDM team members to assist as necessary give the go live dates and the complexity of the facility. Will keep Sanford implementation leadership informed of progress and potential issues. During available time, assist enterprise team with projects and enterprise processes.Must possess extensive knowledge of coding, Health Information Management, and charge master. Must possess a working knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations related to the healthcare industry. Demonstrated excellence in areas of leadership, organization, planning, and analysis. Must have good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills; experience in training and facilitating group sessions; good project management skills; strong problem solving skills; and demonstrated ability to work independently. Knowledge of hospital pricing, coding, modifiers, and other details associated with the charge master required. Takes initiative to begin and complete project responsibilities. Must possess the ability to effectively deal with rapid change in a positive manner and successfully work in a dynamic environment.
Typically 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. Some travel required. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in health-related field. Must have at 5-10 years of work experience related to coding, HIM, or charge master.
