General Purpose of Job: To ensure the safety, quality, and quantity of assigned personnel and production lines and equipment, as a working team leader.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate all assigned production lines in a safe, efficient, and productive manner while maximizing output.Work with coilers and plant management to ensure a quality product is being produced.Perform other duties (i.e. Coiler) to ensure appropriate breaks for production line employees.Perform start-ups and shut-downs of production equipment.React to problems and feedback given by coilers, making necessary adjustments to alleviate quality control issues.Perform all required quality control inspections (i.e. - pipe weight and distribution every four hours).Ensure all end-of-shift paperwork is accurately completed.Assist with corrective maintenance, repairs or changeovers that take place on your assigned shift.Perform mechanical adjustments to equipment, as needed during production.Perform needed housekeeping task throughout shift to maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.Always take necessary action to ensure the safety of your co-workers.Carry out employment duties in accordance with applicable safety rules and procedures.Serve as a quality check for Prinsco.
