The Senior Organizational Development Specialistis responsible for supporting leadership development and employee engagement initiatives across The Marvin Companies. The Specialist provides coaching and mentoring in partnership with leaders for Career Path development, leadership effectiveness, enhance people and social skills, and to build solid cross-functional relationships, leadership, and bench strength across our organization. The ability to deliver leadership development content through workshops, team meetings, and one-on-one coaching and mentoring relationships is key.

Essential Job Functions

Provide Leadership Development Coaching and Mentoring (40%) Practical application of learning content in work environments with an emphasis on individual and team development. This includes; provide support and coaching based on the LCM, facilitate the internal and external 360 Feedback Processes, creation of IDPs, and assist leadership with the implementation of leadership development initiatives designed to improve individual and team performance results.

Facilitate leadership development initiatives (30%): Collaborate with location function and HR leadership to facilitate leadership, career development, and engagement initiatives. Provide guidance and support for effective leader coaching and career development conversations, interpersonal relationship building, and team development initiatives in alignment with business goals.

Present leader development learning content (15%):Conduct SLII Experience and Coaching & Feedback workshops. Familiarize leaders with the Leadership Competency Model (LCM), A3L and FLM Guides, HR development SharePoint site information, tools, and templates, and career development tools, coaching and mentoring processes.

Engage in other project activity (15%): Special projects and assignments as needed to support the business and department goals.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development or related field. Master’s Degree is a plus.

  • 5-10 years work experience in HR, Training, and/or Organizational Development.

  • Knowledge of business processes within manufacturing services organizations.

  • Professional certifications in leader development learning initiatives and applications (e.g. SLII Experience, MDA - A3L Inventory), coaching, mentoring, and human relations.
