Manages the administration and coordination of all mortgage loan servicing and/or operational functions. Establishes and administers policies and procedures to ensure compliance with various regulatory, investor, government and corporate requirements. Hires, trains, motivates, and directs the activities of loan servicing or operational personnel to ensure procedures are properly and efficiently carried out. Plans, develops, implements and controls assigned organization and budget functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Act as a conduit for the mortgage loan servicing or operational functions to ensure compliance with various regulatory, investor, government and corporate requirements.

  2. Works with department managers in matters regarding departmental operations and procedures to improve operational efficiencies.

  3. Interfaces with other servicing operation departments,Housing Finance Agencies Investors, Insurers, to resolve issues.

  4. Central point of contact for key strategic Investor/Insurer/Third Party initiatives.

  5. When necessary manage the research of servicing provisions as stated in the servicing agreements and or guides; coordinate where discrepancies are found by completing the necessary communications to the effected line of business.

  6. Receive, track and respond to external and internal client questions and request.

  7. Act as owner and subject matter expert for all Investor related Servicing issues.

  8. Assist in the facilitation of client servicing/default visits with the appropriate lines of business.

  9. Compose and track meeting minute deliverables.

  10. Track requests, deliverables, and other related operational items in respective databases.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight to ten years of experience in mortgage servicing or operations activities

  • Four or more years of supervisory/management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of all aspects of mortgage lending, servicing or operational policies and practices

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • Good organizational and project management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Well-developed knowledge of human resources functions

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
