Position Summary: Responsible for picking up and transporting goods from donors to the appropriate organizational facility and/or between facilites as directed. Responsible for providing excellent customer and donor service as per DBGR standard. Understands and communicates the relationship between the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch mission and Thrift Stores/Warehouses. Responsible for providing excellent customer/donor communication and servicePick-up and delivery of goods from donors and storesProvides outstanding donor service during delivery and pickup operationsMaintains and protects all property entrusted to you in excellent condition 3. Operates DBGR trucks for pick up and delivery of goodsInspects truck daily prior to departure and upon return to facilityLifts and carries goods onto truck, secures goods, if neededLoads and unloads goods in assigned areasKeeps daily logs of pick-ups and deliveriesMaintains receipts and vouchers for verification of expensesOperates and maintains warehouse equipment in a safe manner at all timesIdentifies and recognizes saleable goods in accordance with DBGR standards when picking up items from donors 4. Warehouse Maintenance Maintains a clean and orderly appearance of the warehouse Empties garbage, recycle, breaks down cardboard boxesStacks boxes in the warehouse in a safe and prescribed manner 5. Miscellaneous Duties and ResponsibilitiesAttends and participates in meetings or trainings, as scheduled Performs other duties assigned or as requiredPulls stock for store ordersManages store stock by oldest datesSupervisory Requirements: N/A Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderAbility to drive large truck with manual or automatic transmissionMaintain all required certifications/license required by DOT: driver's license and insuranceAbility to secure a "medical card" and pass the DOT drug test, if driving a truck requiring a CDLAbility to work varied hours/days as business dictatesAbility to travel and overnight staysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
