We are currently seeking energetic, outgoing staff that want to work in a faced paced environment. We offer our guests 3 different ways to enjoy our product. The Family Restaurant, Sports Lounge, or Takeout/Delivery. Bostonand#39;s Pizza is known for its great service, fresh food, and the place to watch the big game! We are very excited to serve the Fargo/Moorhead community. We are currently hiring all positions including Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers.The Cook is responsible for the receiving, storage and preparation of all food productsaccording to Bostonand#39;s Pizza specifications and practices. The cook is responsible for maintainingproper levels of prepared products. Further they will be responsible for the assembly, cooking,plating and garnishing of all food products according to Bostonand#39;s Pizza specifications. They willcontrol the products leaving the kitchen to ensure that each has been properly accounted for.They will also maintain a clean workplace at all times.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESo The Cook is responsible for ensuring that all products received meet Bostonand#39;s Pizzaspecification, that the invoicing is correct in respect to quantity and quality and that theproducts are properly dated, rotated and stored to ensure food safety. They willprepare all products according to Bostonand#39;s Pizza recipes and will help to control food costsand other kitchen related operating expenses, i.e., preventative maintenance of kitchenequipment.o The Cook will prepare and follow a daily prep sheet to indicate levels on hand andamounts required.o The Cook must have a complete working knowledge of Bostonand#39;s Pizza menu, recipes,assembly and plating specifications.o The Cook will ensure that meals are prepared in a timely manner in accordance withBostonand#39;s Pizza recipes and assembly manuals and charts.o The Cook is responsible for only issuing food from the kitchen when it has been properlyand completely accounted for on a customer bill or a chit from a remote printer.o The organization and cleanliness of the Heart of House area will be a top priority of thecook and they will ensure that their checklists and cleaning schedules are being followedduring and following his/her shift.o From time to time the cook may be required to assist in the training and development ofnew employees.o Co-operation, communication and teamwork are essential for a successful cook.o The Cook will perform other such tasks as may be required from time to time.
