Kforce Business Analyst in Fargo, North Dakota

Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst in Fargo, ND. Essential Functions:

  • Consults with business staff to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs supported by the system

  • Responsible for determining how changing business needs will affect the system

  • Understands the role of the system in the big picture and provides ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of the system

  • Clear understanding of what processes the systems are supporting, and how these processes tie together to within the system role

  • Responds to questions and influences Corporate Payment Systems staff regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs

  • Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of system problems

  • Develops detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and data requirements

  • Negotiates plans, time frames and trade-offs while ensuring that the Corporate Payment Systems Product Manager understands the final results of the project

Detailed analysis documentation including, but not limited to:

  • User Requirements

  • Use Case Development

  • Workflow Diagrams

  • Project Plans

  • Enhancements

  • Defects

  • Interpersonal and communication skills to maintain trust and integrity of direct reports as well as internal/external relationships

  • High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing and database software and/or business systems (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO, VB, other graphic software)

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate, and organize

  • Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivation skills

  • Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; talks and acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect

  • Learns quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner; open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiments and will try anything to find solutions; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks; quickly grasps the essence and the underlying structure
