U.S. Bank QA Analyst Sr/Automation Engineer in Fargo, North Dakota
U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst with strong project management and process improvement experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Job responsibilities include: Participates in the quality assurance process following procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements. Recognizes and identifies areas where quality assurance policies and procedures need to be changed or developed. Conducts project reviews and complex process audits. Assists in major audits/reviews of projects and subcontractors. Ensures deliverables meet audit criteria. Interfaces with clients to ensure that systems are developed which meet their business need and specifications. Evaluates and reviews products and processes. Provides status reporting to Quality Assurance and site management. Involves senior management, as needed, to resolve deficiencies or compliance issues in a timely manner. Communicates and endorses strict adherence to methodologies, processes, and standards. Monitors adherence on an on-going basis. May manage a small staff of employees. May manage employee relations, performance, and reviews. Approves employee time records, work assignments, vacations, sick pay, etc. Helps to plan, develop, and control small to moderate project/product budgets. Works on problem resolutions and reports progress to management. Maintains contact with customers, when required, to ensure project quality expectations are understood and met. Directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Reviews status of quality assurance initiatives and collaborates with other IT managers to ensure quality objectives are being attained. Oversees multiple quality assurance projects which include development, installation, and maintenance. Assists in planning and estimation of Quality Assurance support for new programs and projects. Schedules and prioritizes work and activities to meet target schedule, quality, scope, and cost objectives. Develops, publishes, and implements test plans to ensure quality applications. Writes, maintains, and automates software testing.

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-ITIL Service Management Foundation Certification
-At least 4 years of experience with the processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to quality standards associated with developing, enhancing and operationalizing application systems and databases.
