U.S. Bank Sr. Middleware Technical Lead in Fargo, North Dakota

U.S. Bank is seeking a Sr. Middleware Technical Lead with experience in API and SOA management platforms. Leads the planning and implementation of both on premise and externally hosted API solutions utilizing Apigee Edge and dev portals hosted on drupel. Works with implementation and support teams in determining technological improvements to increase implementation efficiency and high availability. Assists clients in clearly defining requirements and builds technical designs using existing standards. Develops a strong understanding of technology and utilization trends in determining future directions. Works closely and collaboratively with API vendor on configuring and support the externally hosted API Platform. Provides 24x7 on call support.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 6 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.

-At least 3 years experience with utilizing, configuring, and installing software for connecting distributed software and services across heterogeneous platforms.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Extensive experience in:

-System software infrastructure

-Technical troubleshooting

Subject matter expert in:

  • REST and SOAP Services

  • APIs

  • Apigee Edge or similar product

  • OAUTH and SSL protocols

  • Drupel site administration

  • Developer Portals

  • CI/CD

  • Cloud and container based architecture

-Mid-range infrastructure

-IT environment

-Server software

-Performance measures and tuning
