PRIMARY FUNCTION:Responsible for executing the sales and service strategies for the branch and to achieve overall TCCU goals. Oversee Branch Operations, Member Service, and Branch Loan Servicing Staff. Responsible for providing members with products and services on a variety of complex transactions.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Develop and maintain a working knowledge of credit union history, philosophy, and organization. Support and implement the philosophy and objectives of Town and Country Credit Union.Follow policies and procedures as outlined for the branch and credit union operations, including all security procedures. Provide superior service to all members and maintain strict confidentiality of all member and credit union information.Actively supports the culture and mission of the credit union.*Create and maintain an atmosphere or condition which fosters employees to work at their optimal efficiency; maintain open lines of communication and encourage staff to regularly establish goals and objectives.Possess thorough knowledge of all products, services, and financial functions within the credit union and understand their interrelationships.*Assist members through the receipt and processing of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check requests, change of address, check orders, payroll deductions, loan payments and file maintenance. Sell various monetary instruments (i.e. money orders, corporate drafts, etc.) to members.*Responsible for assisting members with all consumer loan products, new accounts, IRAs, and all other financial transactions as needed.Communicate with members regarding transactions relating to the account (overdrafts, closing accounts, charges and fees, transfer of funds, etc.).*Responsible for the overall direction and performance of branch team. This includes hiring, performance evaluations, scheduling, training, and meeting with staff regularly.* Support the Lead Member Service Representative in organizing the branch's teller operations and provide daily supervision to Member Service Representatives and Branch Loan Servicing Staff. Provide general guidance and advise Member Service Representatives in the efficient handling of member needs and transactions.* Track, evaluate, and report the branch sales team's results to the VP, Retail Manager on a monthly basis.*Formulate business development initiatives, business plans, and programs to manage the overall branch financials and goals to achieve a highly profitable and efficient overall branch operation.*Work with Training Architect to train team to profile members and to cross-sell products and services based on the members' financial needs. Research training methods and options. Cross-sell credit union services by maintaining a working knowledge of all member services and assist Member Service Representatives and Branch Loan Servicing Staff with questions and achieving their goals as necessary.Assist VP, Retail Manager in coordinating efforts with the Marketing Department on special direct marketing sales promotions.* Make recommendations or recommendation of product and service enhancements that supports the long-term vision.Respond to member comments and complaints as required.Stay abreast of regulatory/ industry developments and advise Management.Works with the SVP, Chief Information Officer on branch Security Compliance (i.e. key logs, cash drawer audits, etc.)*Responsible for the overall branch operations including: ATMs, vaults and vault cash, building maintenance and repairs, and all staffing* Maintain outside network contacts beneficial to credit union operations and participate in community social organizations and events.Assist in the budgeting process.Demonstrates ongoing commitment to professional growth and seeks out educational and training opportunities.Other duties as assigned. * Denotes essential function.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Is responsible for the overall direction
