New Perspective Senior Living is seeking a Cook.
As the Cook, you will be responsible for all food preparation so that food meets and/or exceeds quality, quantity, and service schedule requirements and hospitality service standards for the community. You will be responsible to effectively manage all food production in the absence of the Director of Dining Services.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Demonstrates a high level of safety in all work practices
Complies with the company uniform policy
Effectively follows the company menu and recipes (all meals, all entrees, all side dishes)
Food is prepared & plated 0with outstanding taste, texture, appearance
Accurately prepares all special diet orders/desires (texture modified/thickened liquids, individualized diet orders)
Maintains serve safe compliance (areas are kept clean, food labeling/dating, equipment maintenance, )
Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
Summary of Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
In order to perform this job successfully, the individual most be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Maintain a current ServSafe® certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe® certified
One (1) year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu
Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
Ability to work some weekends, evenings and flexible hours
Perform other duties as assigned
