This is a PAID 12-week internship. Internships typically beging in June and end in August.

Work as a part of the Field Operations teams performing installations and troubleshooting issues for video, data, and voice services in a broadband HFC system.
Perform installation work including but not limited to voice, video and data installs, and service changes and disconnects in customer homes and places of business.
Produce accurate daily and monthly reports.
Resolve problems with all Midco services as the customer’s demand.
Repair and maintain outside network as necessary.
Cross- train on additional services to meet customer demand.
Participate in team efforts to support customer satisfaction.
Provide quality installation and repair of services to our customers.
Be willing to work on special projects as assigned.
Apply a positive customer service attitude in interactions with all internal customers.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the job within the prescribed work environment.
Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.
Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Associate’s Degree in progress; internship will preferably take place upon completion of first year.
Telecommunications, electronics or related field of study preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 70 lbs.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
