This is a PAID 12-week internship. Internships typically beging in June and end in August.

Work as a part of the Field Operations teams performing installations and troubleshooting issues for video, data, and voice services in a broadband HFC system.


  • Perform installation work including but not limited to voice, video and data installs, and service changes and disconnects in customer homes and places of business.

  • Produce accurate daily and monthly reports.

  • Resolve problems with all Midco services as the customer’s demand.

  • Repair and maintain outside network as necessary.

  • Cross- train on additional services to meet customer demand.

  • Participate in team efforts to support customer satisfaction.

  • Provide quality installation and repair of services to our customers.

  • Be willing to work on special projects as assigned.

  • Apply a positive customer service attitude in interactions with all internal customers.

  • Be able to meet the physical demands of the job within the prescribed work environment.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.

  • Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.

  • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.


  • Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and concepts of other departments.

  • Associate’s Degree in progress; internship will preferably take place upon completion of first year.

  • Telecommunications, electronics or related field of study preferred.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.


  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 70 lbs.

  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

  • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
